And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, “They are dead.” Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
(Al-Baqarah, 2: 155-156)
I came across these verses when I was reciting the Quran just now. The timing, was just perfect.
One of the beautiful things about reciting the Quran (and its translation) is that it feels like Allah is talking to you, telling you things that you might have overlooked, forgotten, and more imporantly, most of the times, these, really give some peace and tranquility to the heart. It’s the inexplicable truth of the divine and holy Quran, I would say.
My deepest condolences to the family of the Pusat Tahfiz incident, for their loss.
It’s really a sad thing, and even heartbreaking, to know that such fire incident was purposely caused by a number of young teenagers.
Just what kind of world we are living in… 😢😢😢
May Allah guide us to the right path, protect us from misguidance and evil temptation, until the end of our life.
